Activate LA: Building Equitable Workforce Pathways for Los Angeles’ Future
altPath was proud to attend Activate LA on February 13, hosted by LeadersUp.
The convening brought together young adults, employers, and cross-sector leaders to align on a shared strategy for ensuring LA’s 2028 mega-events create equitable, long-term workforce opportunities. The event marked an important step toward building inclusive economic pathways across Los Angeles.
Activate LA is part of a broader movement powered by LeadersUp’s Los Angeles Economic Empowerment Alliance (LAEEA) — a regional effort to co-create an Economic Empowerment Policy Agenda that redefines post-secondary success and builds inclusive economic infrastructure across LA County. With LA’s 2028 mega-events on the horizon, these conversations couldn’t be more timely. The opportunity to create meaningful, lasting workforce opportunities for young Angelenos is here — and it requires all of us.
We left inspired and more committed than ever to doing our part in building a more equitable Los Angeles!
